Denise and Ray - Hi

And many thanks for a wonderful day in the bush with Steve and Pete.  They were superb instructors and great teachers. It was an awesome day. The other students were great company, too, and it was instructive to see their vehicles perform.

I'd done lots of research and reading about the capabilities of my diesel GQ and now I've seen it and felt it in the 'flesh'. I can't wait for more.

But I've some further prep to do: install proper recovery points, get a compressor and see if I can manage a 'bondage' kit - straps, wraps and shackles - before I join you again for the sand driving course!!

Thanks again for everything

Brian

Hi Ray,
We just completed a 2 day 4wd training on the weekend and just wanted to say we had a great time and loved every minute of it. Steve and Pete were great trainers and funny buggers too. We certainly feel we went away with some good knowledge and the confidence to take to the bush ourselves.

Thanks again guys.
Kind Regards

Melissa and Gavin de Largie

"We enjoyed the 2 days immensely. Eureka’s staff attitude and communication skills were excellent and we had a great time!! Injection of humour into difficult 4x4 driving situations helped us to relax and learn. Excellent handouts"

"Dear Ray, Thank you soooo much for a fabulous weekend away. We learned so much and we were pretty nervous about how our Personnel Carrier would hold up, but we were thrilled that it, and us made it. We’ll definitely

Subject: A Whole Lota Miles*

G'day geeza,

After taking your course Ray, myself and Elaine,travelled.14860kms. From Perth to Derby, across the Gibb River Rd, up to Darwin, into Kakadu, down

to the Alice, into Coober Pedy, over to Adelaide, into Melbourne, and back via the Great Ocean Rd, up to the Nullabor, into Kambalda and Kalgoorlie, and back to Perth. If it wasn't for your course, we would have taken even longer. You gave me the confidence to have fun, and face my own fears, and realise what my 4WD could do. If it wasn't for your ersonalised course, and the one on one day we had together, I would never have risked a trip like that.

Many, many thanks from the both of us for helping us do the trip of a life time over some of the roughest terrain, Australia has to throw at a 4WD, i.e. Finke River, Pentacost River, King River Rd, Gascoine Junction, the Kimberleys, the Flinders Ranges to name but a few. We owe it all to you.

With affection, and thanks a million.
Doug and Elaine Hegg

Oh, by the way, I ran a croc over in the Pentacost River crossing to the El Questro Station and into diggers rest. But I managed the crossing without a snorkel up to my windows just how you showed me. Yeeeeha and if we could, we would do it all again tomorrow. thanks Ray.....

Subject: Eureka 4WD Training Survey*

Hi Ray,

Just a quick note to let you know we had a great time on the 2 day course. I now have a lot more respect for my car, and am excited about taking some off the-beaten-track trips with confidence! We especially enjoyed the sand driving, as its the closest to what we see ourselves doing in the future. A trip to ARB has been pencilled in for Edgar and myself to equip ourselves with a couple of snatch straps and rated recovery points. I'm also going to get myself one of their compressors the one you let me use was excellent (thanks for that by the way).

Thanks Ray!
Cheers,
Martin & Erin

Subject: Many thanks....

Many thanks for the tremendous experience and training provided over the weekend. The brain is still trying to work through some of the stuff but I reckon I'll get there. Your presentation of the issues and obstacles was fantastic. I would also like you to pass on my thanks to John, he did a magic job of getting me back down the sand dune (left hand down, keep coming.....) There was a great bunch of people with vastly different levels of experience, vehicle type, reason for being on the
course and knowledge and everyone I spoke too was gaining a lot of stuff. Next time, I'm going to wear shorts and certainly not hold your walking stick, but I thank you for making me walk the route so I have a good feeling for what I'm looking for when I have to do it on my own (you better keep that mobile handy). Many thanks once again and keep me informed of other courses and trips.
Regards
David Ridal

Hi Ray,

We really enjoy and love this trip. People are nice, we can share the experience of their last trip, equipments and everything, especially, Kelly and Crawford took care of us with the radio on the road.

I already emailed some pictures to my friends in Hong Kong, everybody said they would like come and join me next time. I told them they should
learn the skill of 4WD from you first.

Hope to see you on the next trip.
Best Regards,
Michael & Agnes

Subject: Our first 4x4 convoy experience

Hi Nick and Ray... or Ray and Nick, if you like.

A few words in comment and of appreciation. First - thank you. Thank you for a great experience, for looking after us so well, for all the
information you handed over, and for staying bright and breezy all the time. Thank you for your constant concern, help and advice. It was a
super trip, well planned and executed. Congratulations.

You wanted to know what our highlights were. Now that I've had time to think a bit, here are a couple. I loved the camaraderie and group
concern that developed as time went on. This was our first time out in a group - and I was enchanted with the almost family feeling that grew.

Log fires at night to soften nippy air. Full moon and huge skies, both night time and daytime. Vast Australia with almost no one in it, and
more so from the edge of the mountain. Those2-I/2 days have provided a fullness that a whole week in town can't give.

Thank you again. Looking forward to the next one in November.

Regards.

Pat (and Barry too, in the Little Green Bug)
