As you know this is our 4th Campfire Escapes trip we have been on. The previous 3 were fantastic trips. When we booked on this trip we knew it would be a fun-filled weekend, what we hadn't counted on were the sites and camp locations that we encountered. We knew they would be top quality as they always are, but not to the extent we found. I have some idea the level of input it takes to find these spots, and can only thank you for finding, and making them available. To add to this, the ability to see and experience things such as Ninghan Station and to have a guided tour and verbal interaction with the Station owner was awesome, our children learned things that Schools can't teach! Then, just when it seemed the weekend was nearing a close, along came Mt Singleton! What a drive, what a view. What a weekend. It amazes me that you have the time to search out and put together such trips, and quite frankly we're glad you do. Yet again we have made some friendships that we feel will prosper over time. 20 out of 10 guys! Well done.. Look out trip # 5 Neil, Natasha, Jesse, Stephanie and little Chloe WA3Dog Camping 9562 1182

Date: 12th January 2004 Subject: Donnelly Hi Denise, Ray and Nick, Natasha, the Kids and I would all like to thank you for another great weekend. This is our second Campfire Escape and I dare say it won't be the last. I know there's a fair amount of time goes into putting these weekends together and we feel you all deserve a pat on the back. The 4wd component, campsites and general run of the weekends are perfect. Well done! The Sheridan crew PS Thanks again for all your help, from the laptop cable, UHF aerial and then the transfer lever you provided a large amount of help...Cheers

Sent: Wednesday, 25 September 2002 Subject: Campfire Escapes Wildflower Trip Hi Ray, We really enjoy and love this trip. People are nice, we can share the experience of their last trip, equipments and everything, especially, Kelly and Crawford took care of us with the radio on the road. I already emailed some pictures to my friends in Hong Kong, everybody said they would like come and join me next time. I told them they should learn the skill of 4WD from you first. Hope to see you on the next trip. Best Regards, Michael & Agnes

[1] Sent: Tuesday, 24 September 2002 Subject: Our first 4x4 convoy experience Hi Nick and Ray... or Ray and Nick, if you like. A few words in comment and of appreciation. First - thank you. Thank you for a great experience, for looking after us so well, for all the information you handed over, and for staying bright and breezy all the time. Thank you for your constant concern, help and advice. It was a super trip, well planned and executed. Congratulations. You wanted to know what our highlights were. Now that I've had time to think a bit, here are a couple. I loved the camaraderie and group concern that developed as time went on. This was our first time out in a group - and I was enchanted with the almost family feeling that grew. Log fires at night to soften nippy air. Full moon and huge skies, both night time and daytime. Vast Australia with almost no one in it, and more so from the edge of the mountain. Those2-I/2 days have provided a fullness that a whole week in town can't give. Thank you again. Looking forward to the next one in November. Regards. Pat (and Barry too, in the Little Green Bug)
