Testimonials

Dear Mark and Rina,

I would like to thank you for your professionalism in running the 4WD course. From helping me out from the moment I contacted you on your website, to arranging the USI numbers and all the personnel that attended the course thoroughly enjoyed it. Can you also thank Peter for me.

If I have any further training I will not hesitate in engaging your services.
Again thank you for your support.

Just a quick note to say that the course we did as mentioned above was wicked!

The kids loved it laughing a giggling as they were bounced around the car as their mum and i learned what our car can do – and the 2 guys who showed us how great fun it can be were great themselves.

We want to book into a sand course next followed by a bush course – We are an annual leave from Christmas day for 3 weeks and we are taking the kids and 4WD out for some fun and we want to make sure that we have done these courses and get more knowledge.

Once again thanks for a great day out.

Just a quick email to let you know the bush course we went on yesterday was a great day enjoyed by all of us. Could not believe how capable our 4wds were. Both Pete and Rob were fantastic with their 4wd knowledge and training , easy to get along with and good guys. Well done Eureka. Looking forward to cleaning the car (not)!!

On Saturday 12th April 2014 my wife and I completed the Bush Terrain Recreational Training Course with your company and had a great time.

Rob was a great trainer and gave us the all basic 4 WD knowledge and improved my off road driving skills to where I now feel a lot more confident to undertake our upcoming trip to the Pilbara including a much anticipated visit to the Karajini National Park. Additionally I now know a lot more about my vehicle (Mitsubishi Pajero 2013) and its capabilities.

Please thank Rob very much for a great day. I will also arrange to do your Sand Driving Course in the near future. My wife and I would highly recommend your company to anyone that wants to or should undertake 4WD training.

Just following up on our telephone conversation in saying that we were extremely
pleased with the quality of the course and the instructors.

The instructors provided the information in a manner that it was easier to comprehend and at no point was anyone made to feel uncomfortable regardless of there ability or experience. They showed genuine interest if what each candidate had to say. I would have no problem with recommending both the instructors and the course to other companies/individuals who would require your training services.

We are very happy with Eureka, you are the only provider we use for 4WD.
The admin staff are always helpful and very efficient. If I’m booking any training I can always rely on Rina responding straight away.
Thank you for your service this year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

At the completion of each training course, we send our employees a feedback form to complete so that we can monitor the quality of the training received from providers to ensure the best possible training provider is sourced for future training requirements. The feedback is then passed on to the training provider as an opportunity for continuous improvement.

I have received the feedback sheets from the participants, and the course was rated between very good and excellent. I have summarised the comments on the feedback sheets, as follows:

What were the most useful things learned?

  • The practical situations where we had to negotiate the 4WD vehicle
  • Having the instructor in our car giving us tips and instructions was very useful
  • How to safely snatch a 4 x 4 and more importantly, how not to
  • The importance of walking the course that you are going to drive
  • Always check the depth of a waterhole before driving through
  • How to use cadence braking
  • How to shift between hi and low range and what this means
  • How to get out of being bogged
  • Learning the 4WD gears
  • How to use a snatch strap
  • How to read the conditions and plan a route using the vehicle.
  • Being aware of the limitations of the different types of 4WD’s
  • The safety aspects of driving in general
  • The benefits of traction control in difficult terrain
  • Negotiation of hazards/vehicle position in difficult terrain
  • Cadence braking on non ABS vehicles
  • Safety assessment of situations, pre-start checks, experience in different 4WD terrains, braking on gravel road

In terms of your personal and professional development, this course was:

  • Very useful – I had some 4 x 4 experience, but it was great to be able to ask all those little questions that I’d never been sure about

How relevant was the course content to your specific work needs?

  • Driving on unsealed roads while attending site visits makes this a very relevant course
  • Relevant – off-road driving is required for my work

How professional was the presentation?

  • The operators were very good. I am considering taking an advanced 4 x 4 course as a matter of personal development
  • Very professional set-up

What did you think of the quality of the materials such as text books, handouts,
binders etc.

  • We got a small booklet which was helpful, but having the powerpoint presentation would also be useful.

Please rate the trainer’s responsiveness and ability to answer questions

  • Pete took our group and he was fantastic. So encouraging and easy to understand.
  • Very knowledgeable trainers

Suggestion improvements/general comments

  • No suggestions – a great course
