Established in 1992, Eureka 4WD Training is proud to be Western Australia’s first Registered Training Organisation (RTO 52488) dedicated to delivering professional, industry-leading 4WD & Defensive driver training. For more than 33 years, we have set the benchmark in nationally recognised 4WD education, specialising in accredited and commercially regulated units of competency for organisations across WA.
Alongside our corporate and workplace training programs, we also deliver our highly popular recreational 4WD courses, guaranteed to be a fun, safe and confidence-building day out. From complete beginners to seasoned drivers looking to advance their skills, our courses teach participants how to safely and responsibly operate a four-wheel drive across a range of challenging terrains.

Our accredited training is delivered not only to the national standard, but above it, thanks to our extensive industry expertise and ability to organise and facilitate any 4WD application across all terrain types. Our renowned 4WD (Light Vehicle) training, along with our comprehensive Corporate Defensive Driver Training programs, are delivered daily Monday to Friday. These programs are designed to enhance driver awareness, reduce workplace incidents, and ensure safe vehicle operation across both on-road and off-road environments. Side-by-Side Utility Vehicle (UTV) training is also available from our purpose-built facility in Bellevue, WA.
Our recreational 4WD courses are conducted in areas participants can return to and enjoy, because where we train is where we go 4WDing. We don’t use classrooms or simulated tracks for recreational courses; instead, you’ll be trained in authentic, real-world terrain, ensuring genuine skill development and confidence behind the wheel.
We also deliver the highest quality truck training and licensing at our premises, using well-maintained vehicles and the best trainers and assessors in the industry. As a Department of Transport (DoT) approved and regulated provider, we offer daily HR, HC, and MC training and assessments for both Automatic HR-A and Manual (Synchromesh HR-B & Road Ranger HR Open Class) transmissions.
Our nationally recognised Side-by-Side Utility Vehicle (UTV) commercial training program focuses on the safe operating and handling techniques of these potentially hazardous vehicles, ensuring participants gain the competence required to operate UTVs safely and effectively in their work environment.
All trainers and assessors employed by Eureka 4WD Training hold the required Certificate IV qualifications and bring significant industry experience, technical knowledge, and practical expertise to every course. This ensures a professional, engaging, and well-rounded learning environment for all clients and students.
Our seasoned 4WD trainers come from a lifelong 4WDing background, for them, off-road driving is not just a job, but a genuine passion and favourite pastime. Their extensive real-world experience across diverse terrains allows them to deliver training that is authentic, practical, and highly effective.
Many of our current and former long-time trainers and assessors have held senior positions within respected organisations such as Track Care WA, the WA 4WD Association, various 4WD clubs, and as honorary land managers. They have dedicated countless volunteer hours to supporting and improving the WA 4WD community, reflecting their deep commitment to responsible, sustainable off-road recreation and training.
Our truck trainers and assessors are all lifelong professional truck drivers with backgrounds across multiple transport and heavy-vehicle industries. Their depth of knowledge, practical skill, and dedication to student success make them some of the best in the industry, and we are extremely proud to have them as part of the Eureka team.

This ensures our training remains entirely non-biased, and any vehicle or product recommendations we provide are based solely on decades of genuine, real-world experience.
