Secure Cargo / Load and Unload

This half-day course provides participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to safely load, unload, and secure cargo in line with Australian transport industry standards. It is ideal for workers involved in road transport, warehousing, logistics, construction, and related industries where handling and securing loads is a core requirement.

The course focuses on practical, hands-on techniques to ensure loads are restrained correctly, risks are minimised, and compliance is met with relevant WHS legislation, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and National Load Restraint Guide requirements.

Truck drivers and delivery drivers
Warehouse and logistics personnel
Freight handlers and yard staff

Anyone responsible for loading, unloading, or securing cargo

No prior experience is required.

Course Delivery

Duration: Half day (approximately 4 hours)
Delivery Mode: Face-to-face training in Perth
Assessment: Practical activities and knowledge questions
Outcome: Nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for:
- TLIA1001 – Secure Cargo
- TLID0015 – Load and Unload Goods/Cargo

Fuel Levy Update

Due to ongoing increases in fuel prices and operating costs, a temporary fuel levy will be introduced effective 8 April 2026.

An additional fee of $10 per person will apply to all 4WD courses, and $20 per person will apply to all truck courses.

This decision has not been made lightly. The levy is necessary to help offset rising operational expenses while ensuring we continue to deliver the high-quality training and reliable service you expect.
