Occupational Off-Road Skills
Our Occupational Off-Road Skills course develops the essential off-road driving skills required to safely operate 4WD vehicles in rugged and challenging environments. Participants will learn how to assess terrain, maintain vehicle control, and navigate uneven ground such as rocks, ruts, steep inclines, and off-track conditions.
In addition to practical driving techniques, the course covers basic vehicle recovery principles, including safe recovery setup, use of recovery equipment, and understanding recovery forces and limitations. The training places a strong emphasis on risk management, vehicle preservation, and safe decision-making to reduce the likelihood of incidents in remote or high-risk locations.
Designed for personnel required to operate 4WD vehicles in occupational settings, this course builds confidence, competence, and safe operating practices for real-world off-road conditions
